Use this stainless steel thimble as an insert for both wire and rope eyes. It is very heavy and well made -- able to take the high-stress loads of a taut foresail luff.
Type 316 stainless steel, for 1/16"- 1/8" rope/wire diameter.

Perfect for 1x19 cable!
These were perfect and exactly the size listed on the website. I was using 1x19 stainless steel which required this size thimble. Be careful because all 1/8" stainless thimbles are not the same size. These are larger than many other 1/8" thimbles that may find online and the Sailrite offering is perfect for 1x19 cable which is much stiffer than other types of cable. Yay Sailrite!
