Description
This is a double-sided acrylic adhesive that bonds well with coarse canvas fabrics like Sunbrella®, Top Notch® or Top Gun®, as well as most home décor fabrics. Basting prior to sewing prevents feeding problems and provides more accurate, even hems and water-resistant seams. Basting tapes are left permanently in place and are invisible. If any needle gumming occurs while sewing, intermittently clean the needle with an alcohol swab or an adhesive remover. The "Basting Tape Selection Tips" PDF document below details all the materials this basting tape can be used on.
The narrow width of this 1/4-inch basting tape makes it perfect for use with zippers. The tape will stick well and is the perfect width to keep it away from the zipper's teeth. It is also excellent for attaching a cushion's boxing to the plate and piping in upholstery work.

Wish I had bought more - I've never used seam tape before. This is awesome.
Sticks and holds about anything, just having problems with skipped stitches sewing thru it. I try to avoid sewing thru it, but please let me know if there is a fix to this. Thank you.
