Description
This is a double-sided Mylar/Kevlar® basting tape that is specially designed to hold fabric laminates together and reinforce sewn seams. This acrylic adhesive has a cloth matrix that allows the stitches to hold better.
Basting tapes are left permanently in place and are invisible. If any needle gumming occurs while sewing, intermittently clean the needle with an alcohol swab or an adhesive remover. The "Basting Tape Selection Tips" PDF document below details all the materials this basting tape can be used on.
Note: Always test the adhesive bond strength for your material and application.
