Description
This is a double-sided acrylic adhesive that bonds well with coarse canvas fabrics like Sunbrella®, Top Notch® or Top Gun®. Basting prior to sewing prevents feeding problems and provides more accurate, even hems and water-resistant seams. Basting tapes are left permanently in place and are invisible. If any needle gumming occurs while sewing, intermittently clean the needle with an alcohol swab or an adhesive remover. The "Basting Tape Selection Tips" PDF document below details all the materials this basting tape can be used on.
The wide width of this tape makes it perfect for use with large overlapping seams, double hems, facing and basting clear vinyl windows on canvas. This basting tape is too wide for cushions or zippers, we recommend using 1/4-inch basting tape for those applications.

Double sided bias tape is the bomb!!!
I have finally enjoyed working with canvas because this bias tapes holds everything in place, making straight seams so much easier.
