Staples for Sailrite® Staple Guns are industrial strength, galvanized zinc staples. We recommend galvanized staples for indoor upholstery projects where there will be no contact with moisture. If there's a chance that staples could be exposed to moisture, especially saltwater, we recommend stainless steel staples. These staples are for use in the Sailrite Staple Guns but are also compatible with the EZE 1/2" crown Staple Guns. Any staple gun that accepts 1/2" crown staples or is listed as a 21 gauge staple gun will work with these staples.

I recently took an upholstery class. My short nose stapler and staples worked well. However, it didn't take long to figure out I also need a long nose stapler.

Galvanized staples-wide can be better
I really like these staples. I also noticed that the wider staple places less stress on upholstery fabric—less likely to tear out. I was concerned about the staples: I ended up getting longer staples because shorter ones were out of stock. The staples are working great. I appreciated the little tips about what kind of staple to get for my project.
The staples were a great purchase. They were exactly as described on Sailrite's website. I like being able to buy them in bulk, something I can't do where I live (in New Zealand). They work brilliantly. Highly recommend these staples.
Not packed well
The staples are fine. In shipping the box was damaged and the staples spilled out. It's a long way to California so a little more buffer inside the shipping box would be helpful. I am grateful to have them. thank you
