Description
The Flexible Metal Tack Strip is a continuous metal strip that is used to fasten fabric on curved or straight areas. Generally, it is used to hold fabric in place where a straight straight metal tack strip will not work. Due to its flexible nature, it is generally used around corners and curves, as well as tight areas - most commonly used on curved arms, outside wings, and arched backs. The three tooth pattern provides extra gripping strength.
When using in tight areas, upon closure if two metal tabs touch then the tack strip will not seat properly and pull out. To alleviate this, stop the tack strip short of the tight curve and hand close the area for proper seating.

Scary but so easy to use once you view the Sailrite videos!
After watching the extremely helpful videos on the Sailrite website I developed the courage to upholster 2 vintage wing chairs! So far one is done and looks great! This product is intimidating but once you view the videos and use it your chairs look professional! Wear gloves when handling this. Thanks Sailrite for the great videos!
