When screwing upholstered panels in place, hiding the screw’s head can be difficult. This task can be made easy with the help of the Dura Snap Upholstery Button Forms and a standard snap fastener stud and #6 screw. The Dura Snap Upholstery Button Forms have a nylon snap ring which allows them to be snapped onto a snap fastener stud. Once your panel is installed, you can simply snap a Dura Snap Button onto the snap fastener stud, hiding the screw’s head with a fabric covered button that matches your upholstered panel.

You can make your own Dura Snap Button with any fabric of your choice (usually the same fabric as the upholstered panel or headliner). This will create a polished, uniform look in upholstered panels, side panels or headliner panels. To make the Dura Snap Button, the W-1 Hand Press and a Cover Die/Hole Cutter #30 is required (available in standard fabric #121392 or heavy fabric #121602 die sets).
